This is achieved through a strong and dedicated base of volunteers who from November to March every year, patrol Waimarama Beach on weekends and public holidays. This dedication to provide a safe beach and the highest level of surf life saving has lead the club being recognised both regionally and nationally with service awards and sporting success. Sponsorship provides a unique opportunity for businesses wishing to support a community based service. Through direct sponsorship, your business is able to promote its goods and services to Waimarama Surf Life Saving members and their families, the wider Hawkes Bay community and beach goers alike. There is considerable commercial benefit to be gained from the association with the Waimarama Surf Life Saving Club. We are a highly regarded and well known organisation which delivers significant community benefit through volunteers who train and upskill at their own cost and time, and also provide large volunteer hours to patrolling the beach and saving lives every summer. This community presence ensures significant exposure to the sponsor’s brand and identity. Sponsorship is a vital ingredient in the success and survival of the Waimarama Surf Life Saving Club.
